One year, while acting as Santa for the Buena Park Police Department, one of the children told me that his family had never had a Christmas tree. I reported this to the Police Chief and President of the Police Association and they arranged to deliver one of the Christmas trees that was staged at the event, including lights and decorations, to the child.
